Tea Party Takeover - You Betcha!

I HAVE to do this blog...Its a long one, so sit back, read on, and be amazed. There are six videos embedded with comments.

I know Ill probably take heat on this one, specifically from my conservative friends. But Im sorry, I am not in love with Glenn Beck or Sarah Palin....Im tired of all the fascination already. They can do no wrong in most of the GOPs eyes. I respect them both for differing reasons, but they have faults....and Im tired of everyone acting like they need to bow down before these people.

Please do not email me with your -I got it wrong- Leave a comment WITH YOUR NAME. If I can post this under my name, you can leave a comment with yours.

The ORIGINAL Tea Party was THIS:
Firstly, I stand corrected when I say that I researched the first "Tea Party" and it was not in 2000-01 as I previously stated. It was earlier - 1998. And for all those who are bandwaggon tea partiers....do you realize who your '...leader' was? It was Alex Jones....yep, for all those that dog me because I peruse his website....including my conservative friends....You will see how small this movement was back then, as well as the fact that it was basically ran by unknowns outside of Texas. It was only recently that the GOP joined in and well Im sure you all know the rest....Glenn Becks involvement - Sarah Palins involvement.....and how those who have seen it grow can literally claim that while the movement has grown, it has been taken over.

Here are clips from the Tea Party Convention - Sarah Palins remarks (with my observations)

Pt 1
My observations: So Sarah Palin takes one minute by beating it thru our heads that shes proud to be American....most of us are. This is a time waster in my opinion. We hear about Scott Brown...honestly? Hes already gone back on several campaign promises. Enough! Im tired of hearing that BHO is blaming GWB....whatever! Shes coming off pretty cocky. Around 8:00 minutes in we hear the 'charasmatic man with a teleprompter' bit. That doesnt sound like she was joking to me.

Pt 2
My observations: At 3:50 minutes in, we hear the 'we need a Commander in Chief, not a Professor of Law' bit. Honestly? Is this necessary? At 5:00 minutes in, Sarah Palin actually states that Alaska is the beacon of hope. When did this happen? Its the first Ive heard of this one! At 7:30 in, she mentions sanctions. As a level headed person, I realize sanctions only hurt the citizens of whatever country they are used. Their leaders do not care. This only gives them more fuel to hate us. Learn this! Near the end of this clip, Sarah Palin actually attempts to blame the bailout on BHO...uh....this is a boo-boo the GWB administration did.

Pt 3
My observations: Leg-is-slate-tors? Odd pronunciation there. At 2:00 minutes in she mocks the Hope and Change campaign theme.....rather bad. Hopey-Changey? Is she two? She also speaks about a campaign promise of BHOs that bills wouldnt be up for vote until the citizens could read them...Im miffed about this and Im disappointed, HOWEVER, our legislators could have refused to vote on this. There was NO RUSH. Lets put the blame where it needs to be.

Pt 4
My observations: Sarah Palin mentions at about 5:00 minutes in that you do not need an office or title to make a difference...and while this is true, I guess she needed a clause to make millions in speaking fees. (she did give it back in this case, but come on) And then, she states that The Tea Party (those at this convention) are the loyal opposition....I beg to differ. Not everyone who attended was there to oppose BHO or the democratic party. I know democrats who were there who were upset. At 8:20 she talks about marginalizing....and I beg to differ here as well....It is a takeover of a movement that marginalizes citizens involved in movements.

Pt 5
These were her closing remarks. Nothing special to observe on my part.

Internet Censorship Exists Around the World

Free speech is beginning to be a thing of the past...
We are being censored around the world RIGHT now!

If someone classifies your website as undesirable, your site can be blocked. If you think this cannot happen here, think again!

Watch the video below and look at the websites I have placed below for more information....I have also listed the website I found this on in this blog title. Just click on it and see much more on this topic.

Capitalism-A Love Story

It is almost fitting that I watched this after blogging on "crony capitalism"....heres a link to that blog, in case you missed it:

http://www.kickitconsulting.com/2010/01/it-isnt-what-you-know-its-who-you-know.html

I intentionally waited to see Michael Moores movie "Capitalism-A Love Story" because of all the 'hype' surrounding it. I mean, when this documentary first came out conservatives wanted his head on a platter (probably still do) and liberals applauded his effort. At that time, there was NO way anyone could have watched it with an open mind. So this afternoon, I watched it...a little over a year after its release.

I can honestly say that this was not at all what I expected. Granted, Michael Moore may be confused about exactly what Capitalism is. What he describes in his film is mainly the "crony capitalism" that John Stossell addessed on his show.

There are varying degrees of truths and untruths in this film, but most of that has to deal with Moores apparent disdain for conservatives (Republicans). He does not come out and say it directly, but it is referred to.

One of my issues with capitalism is the corruption and greed. Moore is correct on this issue. The rich just cant get enough money.....and it seems as if they worship the very Federal Reserve that prints it. However, Im not going to become an activist for the socialist movement either.

I was raised to beleive that if you work hard and make good choices with your finances, you can and will acheive what you strive for. If you choose to be lazy and take handouts, you will always remain poor. My hard work and the money I earn should not go to someone who wont pull their own weight.

Moore interviews 2 priests in his documentary. They both state that capitalism is a sin and it is evil...but doesnt the Bible also state that we have to be fiscally responsible? Doesnt it state not to be in debt? Why yes, it does.

It is almost comical that Moore choose to record African-Americans on the evening that Barack Obama won the Presidential Election. Granted, it is an historical win....but does anyone remember the national news showing an African-American woman stating that, and I quote, "Praise God...now I dont have to pay my mortgage"

Feel entitled to something your not working for much?

So I say to you....and I ask you honestly.....What exactly happens when you dont pay your mortgage? Everything Ive seen tells me that you get evicted, as many are shown to have been.

Im sorry, but as broken as our economic system appears to be...Capitalism seems our best bet for the most important belief of all....FREEDOM

It isnt WHAT you know, its WHO you know

I finally got around to seeing John Stossels show from January 14, 2009, and Im glad I watched.

Ive been saying for years, that its not WHAT you know, it is WHO you know...and you know....I was right. Im not exactly proud of this fact, but more and more we are seeing how things work in our world. It doesnt matter if you are looking for a job or working within the confines of our government...it is WHO you know.

John Stossels show took a look at something thats called "crony capitalism" which is basically using lobbyists to further your companies agenda. He takes a look at several different industries to explain this in detail.

In a nutshell, special interest groups/lobbyists manipulate regulations and help create laws which exclude new and smaller companies, which in turn, helps the bigger more established ones. This also creates a bigger and more powerful government. New laws are created that do not foster competition, they foster the connections these companies have with government....and then, those companies hide behind these rules.

Now, before anyone slams me for being one-sided...both sides of the aisle do this. Every administration has been a part of this problem. And after watching the show, Im sure you will see EXACTLY what needs to stop!

I have embedded the show below (6 parts) OR if you have problems watching here, click on the title of this blog and watch.

How does your food threaten you?

It started when Alex purchased a pizza and looked at the package of hot peppers....He noticed that it specified that they were "irradiated"

From this to adding viruses to your food in the name of safety....
From genetically modifying the animals and food to combining horrifying combinations of food to feed to the animals that will become your food...
From adding flouride to lithium to your water supply....

Remnants of "Brave New World" by A Huxley stand as fact instead of fiction.

Most free-thinking adults eat a decent enough diet. We attempt to add as much nutritional value as we can under the circumstances.

But, we seriously question those with eating disorders because of their outlook on themselves or their outlook on their food....it is times like this when we look at the facts as presented and wonder...should we all just become anorexic?

The threats faced because of what is contained (and we arent aware of) in our food make it seem like they are killing us off slowly.....but seriously, what is someone to do when our very life source is threatened?

Most of my friends will think what they always do...they are sheep and cannot even begin to think that the very substances they were rasised to think were good for us, are in actuality, poisons.

For whatever its worth....watch and listen and make up your own mind...that is, unless you have been force fed chemicals which cloud your thoughts....

Compassion in China to air grievance....I think not!

Thousands of people in China who petition the courts are sentenced to psychiatric hospitals. They are kept behind bars and subjected to torture.

It is scary to think that China owns so much of our debt and this *could* occur here. The United States is on its way to this...why do you think they ostracize protesters?

The Nobel Peace Prize is a Joke-Wheres that Hope and Change?

So the President went and accepted the Nobel Peace Prize...this has got to be the biggest joke ever...

First-Barack Obama ran a campaign of hope and change....well, the only thing I see is a continuation of the bad policies of George Bush. That aint change.

Then-not only does he badmouth the former President-he continues the wars he was supposedly against...
Ummm, wheres the peace in that?

John Stossels new show on Fox Business Channel

John Stossel got his own show on Fox Business Network...It aired December 10th.

He concentrated on talking about the way that global warming/climate change has been turned into some type of religion....

He even introduces the green phone for Al Gore to call him on. John is one of many who would love to debate Al Gore on his stance and claims regarding this subject. Yea, sure its a little cheesy, and is copied from Glenn Becks red phone for the White House.....but it does get to the point, which is - Al Gore wont debate ANYONE!

This is by far one of the most intelligent discussions regarding this subject Ive seen. All together, these clips are about 30 minutes long. Definately worth a watch!

Ron Paul on Glenn Beck - Audit the Fed

Im going to open todays blog post with the simple fact that I do not understand why Ron Paul will even give Glenn Beck the time of day. Glenn Beck ripped Ron Paul to shreds on his radio show and tv show on CNN before he came to Fox News.

Now that I have that all out of the way....

Glenn Beck speaks to Ron Paul about the Audit the Fed legislation before Congress. This is the furtherest this legislation has ever got (Ron Paul has introduced this bill for at least 2 decades to no avail)

The circle of taxpayer money being circulated is sickening. Many companies (banks mentioned here) are paying back the TARP (re: bailout) money so they can forego restrictions put upon them by the government. Of course, the taxpayer wont see a dime of this repayed money....it will go straight into the FEDs coffers.

Glenn Beck shows the viewing audience a graph...the debt to GDP ratio and yep, our country is definately in the crapper. We are NOT recovering from this recession....I wish the politicians would be honest...Our dollar is sinking and we are not creating jobs.

We can only begin to recover if we get to the bottom of our financial situation. We HAVE to audit the fed....and go from there.

More CNN Climate-Gate skepticism/deception

This time it is CNNs Campbell Brown speaking with Chris Horner, Stephen McIntyre, Michael Oppenheimer and John Roberts....

A pretty spirited discussion regarding global warming and Climate-Gate.
Right now the United Nations Climate Conference is going on...and will continue for 2 weeks. How can anyone beleive ANY of the climate claims made by these people?

I say...go out and purchase Chris Horner's book....get educated on what this argument really is about. In my opinion, this argument isnt about our environment....its about money - taking YOUR money to fill their coffers and make THEM rich.

When they start talking about the reality of how to fix the problems our environment DOES have without taxing us on breathing....Ill start listening.

CNNs Anderson Cooper discusses Climate-Gate skepticism

Dr Patrick Michaels (Sr Fellow of Environmental Science) and Bill Nye (The Science Guy) discuss Climate-Gate. Now....Ive watched Bill Nye and learned science stuff from him for a number of years...but HELLO? He looks like a total idiot against Dr Michaels.

How can you state that in looking over the released emails regarding Climate-Gate that it doesnt raise any concern? Uh...what isnt serious about this?

Wake up Science Guy!!!

Inhofe Calls for investigation on Climate-Gate

In this video, Sen. James M. Inhofe (R-Okla.) who is a ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, sent letters to several scientists, as well as to the inspectors general of several federal agencies, notifying them to retain documents relating to the hacked and released emails from the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit in England.

Now....why does a Senator have to tell Scientists to investigate? Unfortunately, it must be done.....Now....can we put a stop to cap and trade?? What about the Copenhagen Treaty business??

700 billion dollars? - Is this a joke?

Let me just start out by saying I am not happy with what our government is doing. I am not happy that a disgusting amount of money is going to companies that do not deserve our money.

Don't quote me, but with 700 billion dollars every American could receive somewhere in the neighborhood of $2000 a piece. That would be some economic stimulus plan....huh?

Apparently our banking system, which has been in place since the Great Depression, is failing. There are two reasons that I can come up with: 1) bad business practices and 2) corporate stealing.

Banks have been giving individuals loans for decades. These loans range from money for college, money for cars, and money for homes. Somewhere along the way, these financial institutions have given loans to those who do not qualify.

I am in shock at learning that some of these companies have qualified people that haven't even proven they have jobs! Whenever I have applied for a loan, I've had to jump through hoops to prove not only that I was employed, but also that I made a certain amount of money.

What perplexes me the most about this "bailout" is that many are suggesting that there is severe mismanagement in these companies. If mismanagement is the case, then these companies should not be bailed out. The business practices of these companies should be re-examined.

As a taxpayer, I am tired of my money going to: programs that haven't worked in years, programs that morally I am against, and companies that pay their CEOs, COOs, and CFOs millions of dollars a year.

Congress is doing everything in its power to hurry this legislation through before educating the taxpayers who's money will be paying for these bailouts. We are being told that this will help our country, but how will this help our country when our financial system is going down the drain right before our eyes?

Recession-depression.....For crying out loud, we haven't seen a real recession since the Reagan years.

And on another note: Read the book of Revelations. Seriously....is this what we are heading for?
